Term 3 Spring School Holidays 2023

We are pleased to advise that Kumon Warriewood will be open during the spring school holidays and will only be closed from Monday 2nd to Wednesday 4th October (inclusive). Students attending Monday and Tuesday classes are most welcome to attend Thursday 5th or Friday 6th October classes.

ZOOM classes on Wednesdays will continue as usual from 3.30-5.00pm in the first week of school holidays. Centre classes will only be in the afternoon from 3-6pm during the school holidays.

There will not be morning classes during the term 3 school holidays (except for pre-schoolers with pre-existing arrangements). Morning class students are recommended to attend the afternoon classes.

It is very important that you advise us of your preferred Kumon home study for your child during the school holidays, last day at centre, and return date back to centre, if you are away during the school holidays.

As students tend to forget easily and find it hard to get back into a regular daily study routine when away on a long break, we recommend light, continuous study during this time, to keep them connected to what they have learnt and to ensure their developed strong concentration and work skills do not diminish during the complete break from Kumon.

We suggest offering flexible options for a balanced holiday break:-

OPTIONS:
1) Alternate days
2) Weekends off
3) 4 days per week
4) Reduced worksheet pages
5) Daily/No change (for students who are happy to do it everyday)

Kindly indicate the options as above of what you would like them to have during their absence from the Kumon Centre.

To enable us to pick and prepare your school holiday worksheets in a timely manner, we ask that you complete the school holiday worksheet request at least a week before your child's last class day as we are unable to do so during our usual busy class times.

As this is the busiest time of the year and due to the very large volume of worksheets, we are unable to pick prepare everyone's school holiday worksheets on the spot, we therefore appreciate your understanding and cooperation on this matter.
